Field Application Engineer – RF Systems

About the role

The Field Application Engineer will join CRFS's Field Application Engineering team, providing expert technical support for RF system solutions. You will work closely with sales and customers, guiding projects from discovery through delivery and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales staff at all stages of the sales process (pre‑ and post‑sale).
• Deliver direct technical assistance to customers and end‑users as required.
• Proactively engage with sales to help achieve sales objectives.
• Ensure all activities meet health and safety requirements and follow the CRFS Quality Management System.
• Prepare accurate FAE task plans, technical reports, and customer training materials.
• Deliver customer training competently and provide first‑line support when needed.
• Maintain technical currency through regular interaction with CRFS technical staff.
• Execute successful technical demonstrations, events, and other customer‑facing activities.
• Report directly to the CRFS Customer Experience Manager.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent technical education.
• Demonstrable qualifications and experience with RF systems and the RF spectrum.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and related tools.
• Proven field engineering experience.
• Experience delivering technical training.
• Customer‑facing experience with the ability to make timely decisions and prioritize complex tasks.
