Field Collections Agent – Debt Recovery

About the role

We are looking for a Field Collections Agent to join a leading UK debt resolution company. The role involves visiting residential and commercial customers to discuss outstanding utility debts and help them resolve their obligations. You will work on a field‑based schedule, meeting clients by appointment or via warrant.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers at pre‑arranged appointments or through warrants to discuss their debt situation.
• Explain repayment options and negotiate mutually agreeable payment plans.
• Collect payments and ensure accurate recording of all interactions.
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including DBS checks.
• Represent the company professionally and build positive relationships with clients.

Required profile

• Experience in field debt collection or a policing background.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (car allowance provided).
• Clean credit history – no County Court Judgments or bankruptcies.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Strong communication skills and confidence discussing financial matters in customers’ homes.

• Competitive salary ranging from £34,000 to £40,000 per year.
