Field Engineer – Residential Equipment Installation

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based at home with a company‑provided van, covering Warrington and the wider North West region. You will join a reputable global engineering firm to install and service residential equipment, delivering high‑quality customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test and commission domestic electrical and mechanical equipment at customer premises.
• Perform routine servicing, fault diagnosis and repairs on installed units.
• Travel across the North West region using a company van, adhering to scheduled appointments.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork after each visit.
• Respond to call‑outs and overtime requests as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing or servicing domestic electrical equipment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Comfortable working in a manual, hands‑on environment.
• Ability to work independently while meeting service targets.
