Field Interviewer – Part‑time (Enfield)

About the role
As a Field Interviewer you will visit households in the Enfield area to conduct face‑to‑face research interviews on topics such as health, housing and transport. Working with a tablet or laptop, you will capture real‑world experiences that help shape public policy and improve everyday life.
Key responsibilities
- Knock on doors and arrange interview appointments with residents who have received a prior invitation letter.
- Conduct structured interviews using a tablet or laptop, ensuring accurate and complete data capture.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, handling refusals and no‑shows with resilience.
- Record travel time and mileage accurately for reimbursement.
- Submit interview data promptly according to project timelines.
Required profile
- Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
- Class 1 business insurance for vehicle use.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete a DBS check.
- Reliable home broadband and a laptop or tablet with a camera.
- At least 18 hours of availability per week, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Required skills
What we offer
- £20‑£30 per interview, plus admin fees and holiday pay (12.1%).
- Travel time paid at £4.68 per hour and mileage reimbursement at 36p per mile (up to 10,000 miles).
- Performance bonuses: £250 after launch, then additional £250 at two and four months.
- Average hourly rate of approximately £15.12, with higher rates for experienced interviewers.
