About the role
We are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to join a specialist manufacturer of components used in defence, communications and R&D. The role focuses on managing accounts, understanding technical requirements and delivering tailored technical solutions to both new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Travel to customer sites and deliver technical presentations.
- Understand technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
- Support customers throughout the product lifecycle from concept to delivery.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge as needed.
- Achieve and exceed sales KPIs.
Required profile
- Proven experience in technical or engineering sales.
- Understanding of RF, microwave, electronics or telecommunication technologies.
- Ability to interpret technical customer requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
