Field Service Engineer – Commercial Car Wash Systems

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of commercial and industrial car wash systems in the Derby area. You will receive full OEM training and be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing equipment, with clear progression and earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs, planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns on commercial car wash systems.
• Travel across the Derby region to service customer sites, working both independently and as part of a team.
• Document service activities and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and provide technical advice to customers.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background, preferably with experience on motors, pumps or similar equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems (preferred).
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel within the Derby area.
• Valid UK driving licence.
