About the role
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a leading electric gate specialist. The role is home‑based with a local patch covering Royston and surrounding towns, offering a balanced Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Service, maintain and install electric gates and entry systems at domestic and commercial sites.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot faults on automatic gate mechanisms.
- Provide on‑site support for customers, ensuring timely resolution and high satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the technical team.
Required profile
- Proven experience with automatic gate installation or service.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently within a defined local area.
- Commitment to a Monday‑to‑Friday, 40‑hour work week.
