Field Service Engineer – Electrical Cranes & Hoists

About the role
Join a growing engineering team as a Field Service Engineer, providing on‑site electrical support for industrial cranes and hoists across South East England. You will travel to customer locations, diagnose faults, and ensure safe, reliable operation of critical lifting equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair industrial cranes and hoists
- Diagnose electrical faults, including 3‑phase systems
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service while on‑site
Required profile
- Electrically qualified (C&G, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, or HNC/HND)
- 18th Edition qualified or willing to obtain during employment
- Strong experience with 3‑phase electrics, fault finding and maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible, proactive and comfortable travelling regularly
- Willing and able to work at heights
