Field Service Engineer – Electrical (South East England)

About the role

An experienced Field Service Engineer with an electrical focus is needed to support a growing engineering business in the South East of England. You will travel to customer sites, delivering first‑class service on automated conveyor and material handling equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on conveyor systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and installations at customer locations.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Interpret and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.

Required profile

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Field Service or Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, preferably on conveyor systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build customer relationships.
