Field Service Engineer – Electro‑Mechanical

About the role

This is a mobile, field‑based position covering the South of England, focused on installing and maintaining electro‑mechanical equipment for public convenience facilities. You will join a small, close‑knit engineering team that offers hands‑on training, autonomy and long‑term stability.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to multiple sites daily to install and service access control, payment, automatic door and coin‑operated systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PPM) and general servicing of public facilities.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and ensure equipment complies with safety standards.
• Document work performed and communicate status to the central team.

Required profile

• Electro‑mechanical engineer with strong electrical or mechanical competency.
• Proven experience in field installations and maintenance.
• Practical, hands‑on individual with a can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
