Field Service Engineer – Ex‑Forces/Navy

About the role
Join a century‑old manufacturer of compressed‑air solutions as a Field Service Engineer. The role is based in Warrington and involves travelling across the North West of England to service and maintain a range of equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform service and maintenance on compressors, air dryers, pipework and refrigeration units.
- Respond to on‑call emergencies (one week in seven) and overtime assignments.
- Travel door‑to‑door across the North West, covering sites in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston.
- Document work performed and report any issues to the engineering team.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer or similar role.
- Background in the armed forces, navy or submariner service.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Required skills
- Knowledge of compressors.
- Experience with pipework systems.
- Understanding of air dryer technology.
- Familiarity with refrigeration units.
What we offer
- Salary £32,000‑£35,000 per year.
- Overtime paid at 1.5× rate.
