Field Service Engineer – Full Training & Career Progression

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our specialist field service team in the Glasgow area. The role offers full industry‑specific training, hands‑on shadowing of experts, and a clear pathway into management.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain monitoring equipment on high‑voltage power generation assets.
• Perform routine inspections and repairs to ensure reliable operation of critical infrastructure.
• Travel across the UK as required to service client sites.
• Document work performed and report any issues to senior engineers.

Required profile

• Relevant Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Motivation to develop specialist skills in a growing niche industry.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Experience or interest in high‑voltage equipment maintenance.
