About the role
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair generators for a market‑leading equipment hire company. The role is based in Milton Keynes and involves travelling to customer sites across the surrounding area.
Key responsibilities
- Travel to client locations to perform routine servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis on generator sets.
- Conduct on‑site equipment surveys and assessments.
- Liaise with customers to understand issues and provide technical advice.
- Maintain accurate service records and report on job completion.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met while working on diesel‑engine and electrical systems.
Required profile
- Proven experience servicing generators or similar diesel‑engine equipment.
- Willingness to cover Milton Keynes and surrounding towns.
- Valid UK work permit.
