Field Service Engineer – Hydraulics/Diesel (Quarrying & Recycling)

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a diesel and hydraulic background to join a fast‑growing company supplying crushing, screening and recycling equipment across the UK and Ireland. The role involves travelling nationwide to service and repair heavy industrial machinery used in quarrying, construction and waste recycling.

Key responsibilities

• Attend door‑to‑door breakdowns and scheduled maintenance visits at client sites across the UK.
• Diagnose and repair gears, engines, hydraulic systems and electric motors on crushers, screeners and shredders.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers on equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on job completion.

Required profile

• Qualified Field Service Engineer with experience in diesel and hydraulic systems.
• Full UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to work independently on site and follow health & safety procedures.
