Field Service Engineer

About the role
Liquidline is seeking a self‑driven Field Service Engineer to join its fast‑growing commercial coffee solutions team. Based in the field, you will install, maintain and repair a range of beverage equipment for customers across South East England, delivering the high‑quality, "wow" service the brand is known for.
Key responsibilities
- Install, commission and maintain coffee machines, water coolers, juice machines and boiler systems at client sites.
- Diagnose faults, perform repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment is left in good working order.
- Provide on‑site training to customers on equipment use and maintenance.
- Communicate progress and outcomes to customers throughout each service call.
- Complete and upload online job sheets, timesheets and related documentation before leaving the premises.
- Manage spare‑part inventory using the Eagle App, ensuring parts are invoiced, deducted from stock and replenished.
- Keep tools, equipment and company vehicle in good condition and report any issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Required profile
- Self‑driven and personable professional with a strong focus on delivering “wow” service.
- Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a skilled team.
- Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams.
- Commitment to high standards of integrity and quality.
- Willingness to travel across South East England to client locations.
Required skills
- Equipment installation and commissioning.
- Fault diagnosis and repair of coffee and beverage equipment.
- Preventative maintenance procedures.
- Use of inventory management applications (Eagle App).
