Field Service Engineer – LOLER Testing

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a well‑established medical mobility company. You will work Monday to Friday on a local patch covering Southampton and surrounding areas, providing a balanced work‑life schedule with minimal overnight travel.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on a range of care‑home equipment.
• Carry out LOLER testing on lifting equipment.
• Service and install baths, hoists, slings, beds, pressure mattresses and wheelchairs.
• Work on‑site from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Required profile

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer in a healthcare or medical equipment environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Proven experience with LOLER testing.
• Willingness to work locally and provide excellent customer service.
