Field Service Engineer – Pumps & Filters

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer specialising in pumps and filters to join a growing water‑treatment business. You will be based in Cambridge and will travel across a local patch to install, service and maintain commercial and industrial filtration systems for blue‑chip clients throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and repair pumps, filters and water‑treatment equipment on site.
• Perform planned maintenance visits and reactive repairs on commercial and industrial filtration systems.
• Cover a defined local area, travelling between sites using a company van.
• Document work performed and report any issues to the service team.
• Participate in overtime and on‑call duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the water industry, preferably with pumps, filters or water‑purification systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the Cambridge region.
• Based locally in Cambridge or surrounding areas (e.g., Ely, Peterborough, Newmarket, Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Bedford, Bury St Edmunds).
