Field Service Engineer – Quarrying, Aggregate & Recycling

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair heavy industrial equipment used in quarrying, aggregate processing and recycling. You will travel across the UK, responding to breakdowns and performing scheduled maintenance on world‑leading crushers, screeners and shredders.

Key responsibilities

• Attend door‑to‑door breakdowns at client sites throughout the UK.
• Repair and maintain crushers, screeners, shredders, gears, engines, hydraulic systems and motors.
• Conduct fault finding, preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Provide full documentation of work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a company van and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient travel.

Required profile

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer with a diesel and hydraulic background.
• Full UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm with guaranteed overtime.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and commitment to safety.
