Field Service Manager (Agriculture / Plant)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager with a background in agriculture or plant equipment to lead our service department in Kilmarnock. You will manage a team of engineers, oversee scheduling and client liaison, and ensure high‑quality service delivery across the agriculture, plant and construction sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee 4 direct reports and a total of 27 service staff.
• Run the service department, handling scheduling, complaints and client communications.
• Plan maintenance activities and workloads for engineers.
• Ensure the team meets company KPIs and targets.
• Manage engineers, schedule jobs and interact with clients from agriculture, plant and construction industries.
• Provide ongoing, tailored training on manufacturing and management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar in an agricultural or plant environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a service team.
• Ability to meet performance targets and KPIs.
• Familiarity with the agriculture, plant and construction sectors.
