Field Service Manager

About the role

Stannah is a leading global lift provider seeking a Field Service Manager to lead the delivery of its Branch Business Plan. You will oversee PPM performance, LOLER defect management, call‑out responsiveness, first‑time fix rates and margin contribution while championing the company’s values of quality and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently plan engineers' workloads and manage daily schedules.
• Manage team absence, performance, and conduct appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Carry out regular site monitoring and maintain credit control logs and CRM data.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, handling queries and complaints.
• Oversee PPM performance, LOLER defect management, call‑out responsiveness, first‑time fix rates and overall margin contribution.

Required profile

• Experienced engineer ready to step into a management role or an experienced manager with a technical background.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
• Previous experience in the lift industry or a similar service sector.
• Relevant technical or management qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineering) desirable.
