Field Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers across the South Coast, including Brighton, Worthing, Poole and Bournemouth. The role involves travelling to client sites, diagnosing faults and ensuring specialist equipment remains operational.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customer locations to perform inspections, servicing, fault finding and repairs on specialist equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues efficiently and carry out breakdown repairs.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
• Manage your own workload and schedule while working independently.
• Complete service reports and related documentation after each visit.
• Provide a high standard of customer service and represent the business professionally.

Required profile

• Technical or engineering background with basic electrical fault‑finding experience.
• Practical problem‑solving approach and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a regional workload.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the designated area.
• Motivation to learn new products and technologies.
