Field Solutions Engineer – Hivemind (London)

About the role

Shield AI is seeking a senior Field Solutions Engineer to act as the technical face of its Hivemind autonomy platform across the EURAF region. You will work directly with defence, security and aerospace customers to demonstrate how autonomous systems can solve operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer‑facing technical engagements, including demos, briefings, RFIs, RFPs and technical interchange meetings.
• Translate mission concepts, CONOPs and integration constraints into credible Hivemind solution concepts and proposal content.
• Partner with Business Development, Capture and Product teams to develop technical sales assets such as capability briefs, demo scripts and white papers.
• Maintain product truth by ensuring all customer‑facing material reflects current capabilities, limitations and roadmap timing.
• Monitor regional defence modernization trends and feed insights back to product and engineering teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, field applications, systems engineering or technical sales within defence, aerospace or advanced technology.
• Proven ability to engage international defence customers and navigate varied acquisition environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to technical, operational and leadership audiences.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work from London on a regular basis.
