About the role

Ordnance Survey is seeking a self‑motivated Field Surveyor to work from home while covering the Diss area and surrounding parts of South Norfolk and North Suffolk. You will plan and execute field surveys, collect high‑quality geospatial data and ensure accurate records that support the nation’s mapping products.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct and report on field surveys of residential and commercial developments for HM Land Registry.
  • Perform site inspections and boundary investigations, taking measurements and gathering evidence.
  • Collect, assess, edit and maintain geospatial data to defined specifications.
  • Manage your own workload and schedule across a wide geographical area.
  • Travel throughout Great Britain, including occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

  • Resilient and able to work independently in varied weather conditions.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage own schedule.
  • Motivated, adaptable and eager to develop a career in geospatial data capture.
