Field Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Field Technician to join our client’s team, delivering warranty‑related repairs, adjustments and maintenance across customer sites in the Aylesbury and Bicester area. The role is full‑time (40 hours per week) on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customer locations to assess and resolve warranty issues.
• Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks, including door realignment, plaster repair and fixing leaking windows.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets company standards.
• Travel to sites as required, with occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Field Technician, Handyman or Maintenance Operative.
• Strong practical ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• Attention to detail and a quality‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage site visits.
• Full driving licence.

Required skills

• Door adjustment and realignment.
• Plaster repair and internal finishing.
• Window leak investigation and repair.
• General maintenance and repair techniques.
• Diagnostic troubleshooting.
