Final Build Technician

About the role

The Work Shop is seeking a Final Build Technician to join its assembly team in Fordingbridge. You will be responsible for completing and packing orders of metallic and fabric products, ensuring high quality and timely delivery for customers who rely on life‑changing outdoor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Final assembly of metallic and fabric products, including quality control.
• Pick orders, maintain stock levels and package items, building large boxes and pallets as needed.
• Complete and manage paperwork related to production and deliveries.
• Collaborate with the Production Coordinator to meet delivery deadlines.
• Receive deliveries, raise order requests and keep the workspace clean and organised.
• Escalate repeated errors and suggest process improvements.
• Perform other tasks as allocated.

Required profile

• Previous light mechanical assembly experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated with strong time‑management skills.
• Ability to work on feet for most of the shift and lift/move items regularly.
• Forklift licence is beneficial; training may be provided.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Forklift operation (beneficial).
