Finance Analyst - Private Equity

About the role

Goodman Masson is partnering with a leading global private markets investment firm to hire a Finance Analyst for its Investment Finance team. The role offers broad exposure across private equity, private credit and other private‑markets strategies within a fast‑paced, collaborative finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with investment teams to support new transactions, ensuring funding, liquidity and operational readiness throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Support treasury activities including cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity management, FX execution and financing arrangements across multiple investment vehicles.
• Produce commercial analysis and reporting to aid senior‑management decisions on liquidity, investment activity, fund performance and treasury strategy.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to support fundraising, performance analysis and investor due‑diligence requests.
• Work with finance, legal and operational teams to establish new investment structures and fund launches.
• Coordinate with external service providers such as fund administrators and auditors for quarterly reporting and annual financial statements.
• Contribute to process‑improvement, automation and systems‑enhancement initiatives alongside finance and technology teams.
• Support cross‑functional projects across finance, investment, treasury and operations as the business grows.

Required profile

• Recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA).
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Proactive, commercial mindset with ability to work in a high‑performance, low‑hierarchy environment.
