Finance Apprentice

About the role

Join AVEVA’s Finance team as a Finance Apprentice and gain hands‑on experience across multiple finance functions. Over a two‑year programme you will rotate through four six‑month placements, developing a solid foundation in finance processes while studying for a Finance Data Analyst Level 3 qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with Procure‑to‑Pay activities, processing supplier invoices linked to purchase orders.
• Support Record‑to‑Report tasks, including posting general‑ledger journal entries and performing reconciliations.
• Work on Commercial Operations, processing software sales orders through order‑management and fulfilment systems.
• Participate in compliance and control activities within a global software environment.

Required profile

• Minimum GCSE grades of 4 in English and Maths.
• Strong interest in building a finance career and willingness to study for a Level 3 qualification.
• Positive, enthusiastic team player aligned with AVEVA’s values of Trust, Impact, Curiosity and Aspiration.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint for presentations.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP or similar finance systems.
