Finance Assistant – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to support accurate and timely reporting of rental charges and related finance information. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in our Unity Place office in Milton Keynes.

Key responsibilities

• Verify contract‑hire invoices against the CLM system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Report rental invoices in line with client profiles and reporting requirements.
• Investigate, pursue and resolve contract‑hire rental invoice queries, providing clear updates to clients.
• Conduct quarterly checks to confirm rental queries are cleared within required timescales.
• Train and support colleagues to ensure client reports are accurate and delivered on time.
• Perform weekly and monthly checks of supplier statements, supporting clearance of outstanding invoices and unallocated cash.
• Coordinate and review Expected Charges completed by team members for completeness and accuracy.
• Create and maintain charge batches, manage movement recharges, and carry out ad‑hoc finance duties.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile statements.
• Excellent written communication skills for client and supplier interaction.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end query resolution in a finance environment.
