About the role
Our client, a well‑established professional services firm in London’s West End, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join a small, friendly finance team. The role is full‑time and will primarily focus on purchase ledger and accounts payable work, with exposure to accounts receivable and general bookkeeping.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoices and purchase orders for accounts payable.
- Generate invoices, manage credit control and handle accounts receivable.
- Reconcile statements and invoices.
- Process employee expenses.
- Maintain the purchase ledger and support broader bookkeeping tasks.
Required profile
- Live within a commutable distance of London.
- Available to work full‑time.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Minimum two years of finance experience in the UK.
- AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger Clerk.

What we offer
- Hybrid working arrangement after the probation period.
- Competitive salary between £32,000 and £33,000 per year.
