About the role
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to support a North East business on a rolling temporary basis. The role offers an immediate start and will involve a variety of finance‑related tasks across the purchase and sales ledgers.
Key responsibilities
- Support purchase ledger and sales ledger activities
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist with cash allocation
- Provide ad‑hoc support across the finance function
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Finance or Accounts Assistant
- Familiarity with a range of finance systems
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
- Availability to start on short notice
