Finance Assistant

About the role

Join a leading luxury travel company as a Finance Assistant, supporting the Finance team in day‑to‑day financial operations. This role offers a solid foundation for recent graduates or early‑career professionals with strong Excel abilities and a keen eye for detail.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily receipts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform multi‑currency bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Collect outstanding balances from customers and travel trade partners.
• Prepare and update weekly and monthly cash‑flow reports.
• Assist with month‑end accounting procedures and reporting.
• Issue statements to credit agents and process commission payments and refunds.
• Handle booking‑related finance queries, including commission and agent‑account set‑up requests.
• Provide ad‑hoc support across the Finance department.

Required profile

• Previous accounting or finance experience is beneficial, but recent graduates with strong Excel skills are also considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Accounting Systems (AX Dynamics 365) is advantageous.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
• A genuine passion for travel.
