Finance Associate - Record to Report

About the role

As a Finance Associate in the Record to Report (R2R) team, you will support day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial data for AVEVA. The role is hybrid, based in Cambridge, with three days per week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Post general ledger journal entries and execute period‑close activities.
• Handle fixed‑asset accounting, intercompany transactions, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and support internal controls.
• Collaborate with finance and business teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintain R2R relationships with key stakeholders and assist in training junior staff.
• Participate in SSC activities across regions, supporting I2C and P2P processes.

Required profile

• Operational accounting and reporting experience.
• Good understanding of finance systems, especially ERP solutions.
• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent English and high integrity.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Accounting degree or recognised qualification; studying ACCA, CIMA or AAT is a plus.
