Finance Business Partner - Brand & Marketing

About the role

Greene King is looking for a Finance Business Partner for its brand and marketing activities. The role sits within the Commercial function, combining support with challenge, and evolves as the group's commercial offer changes. It is full-time, permanent, based at Sunrise House, with 35 hours per week and a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Commercial and Finance functions and with external consultants and partners, and hold them to account
• Make evidence-based commercial recommendations that affect profitability and cash flow, and use influence to shape decisions
• Produce clear, concise commercial analysis and support regular reporting, including scenario modelling and post-investment appraisal
• Own budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for areas of the commercial offering, including menu and business case sign-off and post-investment review
• Depute for peers or line managers as required, and contribute to the development of the Commercial Finance team, particularly analysts

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience (3 years+) or significant experience in a business-facing business partnering role
• Able to build relationships across the wider business and with external advisors
• Comfortable with changing priorities and able to balance short-term deliverables with long-term objectives
• Commercial Finance or Business Partnering experience (with financial modelling, investment appraisal or analysis) is advantageous

Required skills

• Analyse complex financial and non-financial scenarios and recommend actions clearly and persuasively
• Excellent written and oral communication, able to explain technical items simply
