Finance Business Partner – Commercial Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the Commercial Finance team of a leading UK organisation. Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance, you will provide high‑quality financial support to senior operational leaders, driving performance, profitability and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes.
• Deliver accurate management reporting and financial analysis.
• Support senior stakeholders with financial decision‑making and performance management.
• Build robust financial models for contract bids, account development and strategic initiatives.
• Produce monthly performance reports, variance analysis and commentary.
• Support project finances, track performance against objectives and analyse outcomes.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to drive business growth and profitability.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong management accounting, forecasting and financial planning experience.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence, challenge and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial mindset focused on performance improvement and value delivery.
