Finance Business Partner – Housing Services

About the role

The organisation is a purpose‑led housing provider focused on safe, affordable homes and high‑quality services. They need an experienced Finance Business Partner to support the Housing Services directorate, working across Neighbourhoods, Lettings and Income.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets and balance‑sheet reconciliations, meeting all reporting deadlines.
• Partner with Housing Services leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis, challenge performance and support operational decision‑making.
• Prepare journals, accruals, pre‑payments and statutory returns while maintaining strong financial controls.
• Analyse trends, identify improvement opportunities and enhance forecasting accuracy and service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with experience in Finance Business Partnering and Management Accounting.
• Previous experience within the housing association sector, preferably in housing services.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to operational stakeholders.
• Confident analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
