Finance Business Partner

About the role

Join the Brands & Licensing Finance team at BBC Studios as a Finance Business Partner, supporting fast‑growing digital and brand businesses. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide financial control, reporting, forecasting and strategic analysis across a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, year‑end and reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Prepare and manage P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow forecasts, budgets and long‑range plans.
• Partner with business leaders and budget holders to deliver financial insights and support growth initiatives.
• Develop business cases, financial models and ad‑hoc analysis for strategic decision‑making.
• Manage relationships with outsourced finance service providers, ensuring high‑quality delivery and efficient processes.
• Maintain a strong financial control environment through reconciliations, compliance reporting and continuous improvement.
• Provide clear commentary on performance, highlighting risks, opportunities and key drivers.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), part‑qualified, newly qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, management reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience working in a dynamic, multi‑business environment.
