Finance Business Partner

About the role

Citadel Source is supporting a fast‑growing retail business in Gloucester with a key Finance Business Partner position. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will provide financial insight that drives commercial decisions and help professionalise the finance function as the division scales.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial, operational and senior leadership teams to deliver clear, actionable financial analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning processes.
• Produce monthly management reports, variance analysis and KPI packs for the logistics arm.
• Identify growth opportunities, cost‑saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects and strategic initiatives.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and enhance management information reporting.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Proven ability to influence senior non‑financial managers.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for non‑financial audiences.
• Strong analytical, commercial and persuasion abilities.
• High standards of accuracy and presentation in financial performance analysis.

Required skills

• Sage (experience desirable)
