Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for an analytical, forward‑thinking Finance Business Partner to join a successful finance team on the outskirts of Maidstone. You will work closely with finance and operational colleagues to deliver accurate reporting and help shape future financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely management accounts with clear, insightful commentary.
• Deliver regular forecasts and collaborate with managers to develop and challenge assumptions.
• Prepare detailed annual budgets for designated areas of the organisation.
• Support balance‑sheet reconciliations and year‑end processes.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support operational decisions.
• Identify risks, opportunities and performance trends, communicating them across teams.
• Prepare financial evaluations for internal projects.
• Support development of pricing models and analysis of cost and margin movements.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience using financial or reporting systems.
• Excellent communicator able to explain financial information to both finance and non‑finance audiences.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets.
• High attention to detail.
• Collaborative approach to teamwork.
