Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will work closely with senior operational leaders to provide commercial insight, strategic influence and financial leadership. This role blends budgeting, forecasting and transformation initiatives to drive performance in a fast‑moving, purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted partner to senior operational leaders, offering insight to guide decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling to support business strategy.
• Deliver clear, forward‑looking financial analysis to improve performance and profitability.
• Drive cost control and identify efficiency opportunities across operations.
• Support transformation initiatives, including systems and process improvements.
• Enhance reporting by moving towards insight‑led, visual outputs.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight.
• Confident influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
• Experience in operational environments such as logistics, manufacturing or distribution is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving and evolving business.
