Finance Business Partner – Leeds (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a high‑visibility finance team in Leeds. Working 2‑3 days per week on‑site, you will partner directly with demanding professional stakeholders, translating complex numbers into clear insight and supporting strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Provide financial analysis, insight and support to aid decision‑making.
• Review financial performance, budgets and forecasts.
• Investigate and explain variances, trends and key business drivers.
• Challenge assumptions and provide constructive commercial input.
• Deliver accurate and meaningful management information.
• Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven post‑qualified experience in business partnering, commercial finance or management accounting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working with professional, detail‑oriented stakeholders.
• Resilient, confident and comfortable operating in a challenging environment.
• Customer‑service mindset with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
• Able to influence, build credibility and establish strong working relationships quickly.
