Finance Business Partner – UK & Europe

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will provide financial leadership and commercial insight across the UK and European operations of a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed distribution business. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and senior leadership, the role supports performance improvement, profitability and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to UK and European leadership teams, delivering commercial insight and performance analysis.
• Partner with Sales to identify revenue, pricing and margin opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with Operations to review overhead expenditure and operational performance.
• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting.
• Analyse monthly performance, explain variances, trends and business drivers.
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and manage intercompany balances.
• Coordinate annual audits and act as primary finance contact for external auditors.
• Own the 13‑week cash‑flow forecasting process and communicate working‑capital risks.
