About the role

The Finance Director will lead all financial operations for a fast‑growing tech retail business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape financial strategy, ensure compliance and drive sustainable growth in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision‑making.
• Lead, mentor and manage the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Monitor cash flow, cost control and financial risk.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment and efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the board and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven leadership experience within a high‑growth SME.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of financial compliance and regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
