Finance Director – West Sussex (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join a well‑established SME group located on the outskirts of Crawley, West Sussex. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function and sit on the senior leadership team, providing strategic financial guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Financial leadership including month‑end, year‑end, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strategic support to the Managing Director through analysis and guidance.
• Business analysis covering KPIs, cash‑flow monitoring and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting, management accounts preparation and audit processes.
• Own responsibility for the ERP system and drive its continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA member.
• Proven experience at a similar senior finance level within an SME.
• Demonstrated ability to provide commercial support to the board while remaining hands‑on operationally.
