Finance Graduate – Chartered Accountancy Training (ACCA)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established accountancy practice in Liverpool, is seeking a motivated Finance Graduate to start a career in accountancy. The position provides hands‑on experience and full support to achieve the ACCA qualification while working full‑time in an office‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing statutory accounts under FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A.
• Perform bookkeeping using a range of cloud accounting software.
• Visit clients on‑site and virtually to support their accounting requirements.
• Collaborate with Audit and Tax teams to gain exposure to direct and indirect taxation.
• Learn VAT and CIS requirements for small and medium‑sized businesses.
• Support senior team members with various client assignments and advisory work.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Accounting, Finance or a related degree.
• Keen to study towards the ACCA chartered accountancy qualification.
• Numerate with excellent analytical abilities.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive, eager to learn and develop.
• Competent using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
