Finance Graduate – Tax Trainee

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Finance Graduate to join our tax team in Glasgow City Centre. Working alongside experienced tax professionals, you will receive comprehensive training and support while working towards a recognised tax qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing personal and business tax returns.
• Support tax compliance work for a diverse client base.
• Liaise with HMRC on client queries and tax matters.
• Contribute to tax planning projects and advisory assignments.
• Prepare supporting documentation and maintain accurate client records.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UK tax legislation and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or relevant experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong interest in developing a career in tax.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
