Finance Manager – 3‑Month Interim (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join an international project‑led business on a three‑month interim contract. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day finance function, ensuring smooth financial operations during a period of transition. The role is fully remote with occasional travel to the London office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations, maintaining accurate records and data integrity.
• Manage purchase and sales ledger processes and coordinate supplier payment runs.
• Support payroll in partnership with external providers.
• Prepare customer quotations and supplier purchase orders alongside operational teams.
• Monitor debtor balances and assist with credit‑control activities.
• Provide day‑to‑day financial guidance to the wider business.
• Assist with handover to the incoming Finance Director.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in a commercial finance environment, preferably as a Finance Manager.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in an SME or agency setting.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Hands‑on, proactive approach with the capacity to manage own workload.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial data manipulation.
