Finance Manager – 5‑6 Month Interim (Hybrid)

About the role

We are supporting a well‑established travel and leisure business that needs an experienced Finance Manager on a 5‑6 month interim basis. The role is hybrid, with two days on‑site each week, and focuses on designing and embedding robust finance processes during a period of organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a cash‑flow forecasting process covering short, medium and long‑term horizons.
• Build a standardised balance‑sheet reconciliation framework with templates, review and sign‑off controls.
• Lead consistent reconciliation processes across multiple legal entities.
• Develop and formalise inter‑company reconciliation and governance procedures.
• Review and improve subsidiary recharge processes, including management fees and payroll recharges.
• Collaborate with AP and AR teams to strengthen controls and data quality.
• Support month‑end reporting by enhancing reconciliation and governance.
• Produce clear process documentation for future ownership.
• Work across finance systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and planning tools.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Strong background in cash‑flow forecasting, balance‑sheet reconciliation and inter‑company accounting.
• Ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment.
