Finance Manager, Big Talk Studios (Perm, Part Time)

About the role

Big Talk Studios, an International Emmy Award-winning scripted television production company and a Scripted TV Production Label under the ITV Studios umbrella, is looking for a commercially minded and technically strong Finance Manager. The role focuses on Management Reporting, Group Reporting, Control and Business Partnering. It is a permanent part-time position based at Big Talk Studios in London, working 3 days per week across 4 days as standard, with 4 days at month end (working days 1-4 of a calendar month); the expectation is 2 days in the office, Monday to Thursday.

Key responsibilities

• Management reporting, group reporting, control and business partnering
• Preparing full month-end accounts and management reporting packs
• Working with non-finance stakeholders and explaining financial information clearly

Required profile

• Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or part-qualified with significant relevant experience)
• Experience in TV production
• Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines and a proactive approach to improving processes
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
• Confidence working in a deadline-driven, changing environment

Required skills

• Month-end and reporting experience
• Full month-end accounts and management reporting packs
• Strong Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and accounting software such as Sage or similar
• At least three of: payroll, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, cashflow forecasting
