Finance Manager – Commercial & Management Accounting

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established Cornish business to find a Finance Manager who enjoys influencing the bigger picture as well as working with numbers. This hands‑on role offers real impact across the organisation, supporting senior management with commercial decision‑making and performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow
• Conduct variance analysis with commercial commentary
• Develop KPI reporting and management information
• Support senior leadership with financial planning and decision‑making
• Partner with operational departments to add value
• Identify and implement process and performance improvements
• Assist with year‑end preparation and liaise with external accountants
• Contribute to ongoing systems and reporting enhancements

Required profile

• Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or part‑qualified finance professional
• Strong management accounting experience, preferably in a commercial environment
• Proven ability to build relationships across the business
• Excellent analytical and commercial mindset
