Finance Manager, EMEA Payments Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the EMEA Payments Accounting team in our London office. The role will own key controllership and accounting functions for EMEA operations, reporting results to the business and driving process improvements across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the EMEA Accounting team and lead senior‑management meetings on financial statement matters.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for EMEA, establishing review forums and escalation paths.
• Standardise and continuously improve processes and controls for US GAAP, local GAAP and management reporting.
• Deliver cross‑country projects that implement best accounting and controllership practices.
• Align EMEA Accounting activities with the worldwide Accounting organisation.
• Translate accounting terminology for non‑finance audiences and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, business, accounting or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in tax, finance or other analytical roles, with multiple finance/accounting positions held.
• Proven ability to apply KPIs, build financial and operational reports, and drive automation‑focused process improvements.
• Experience in continuous‑improvement projects with measurable results.
• Knowledge of financial controls and procedures; CPA or equivalent is a plus.
